Whistleblowing Portal

Joaquim Chaves Saúde provides the Whistleblowing Portal in compliance with Article 8 of the General Framework for the Prevention of Corruption (Decree-Law No. 109-E/2021 of 9 December) and the General Framework for the Protection of Whistleblowers (Law No. 93/2021 of 20 December), which transposes Directive (EU) 2019/1937.


This channel is intended for the reporting, in a secure, confidential, and, if the whistleblower so wishes, anonymous environment, of facts relating to violations in the areas covered by Article 2 of Law No. 93/2021, namely acts of corruption and related offences, fraud, money laundering, public procurement, environmental protection, food safety, public health, consumer protection, personal data protection, product safety and compliance, economic and financial crime, as well as conduct contrary to the Joaquim Chaves Saúde Code of Conduct, including situations of harassment (sexual or workplace), discrimination, or non-compliance with internal policies and procedures.

Complaints Regarding Healthcare Services


This Portal is not intended for handling complaints related to the provision of healthcare services at Joaquim Chaves Saúde facilities. For such matters, you should use the Electronic Complaints Book, available at livroreclamacoes.pt.
