The Joaquim Chaves Saúde App is your personal digital space that allows you, among other features, to book appointments and view your activity at JCS clinical units directly on your mobile phone.

Anyone aged 18 or over can join the JCS App. To do so, simply download the app to your mobile phone — it is available for free on Google Play and the App Store. If you are under 18, you can be added as a dependent.

The registration process in the App is very simple:”

1. Download our App, available for free on Google Play and the App Store under the name “Joaquim Chaves Saúde.”
2. Open the application and tap ‘Join’.
3. Fill in the form with all the requested information.
4. Read and accept the ‘Terms and Conditions’ and tap ‘Confirm’.
5. Enter the ‘Validation Code’, using the PIN that you will instantly receive via SMS on the mobile number you registered.
6. After entering the PIN, tap ‘Start’ and your registration will be complete.
7. Once your registration is finished, you can log in using your access credentials.

Note: To gain full access to all App features, you must first validate your account at one of our medical clinics.

In the Joaquim Chaves Saúde App, you can update some of your personal information through the Personal Area. To request a data update:”

1. Open the App on your mobile phone.
2. In the left side menu, select ‘Information’.
3. Choose ‘Contact Request’ and specify ‘Data update’ as the subject.
4. Describe the information you want to update, indicate your preferred contact method, and select ‘Send’.
5. Your request will be forwarded to our services so that your information can be updated in your file.

You can also change your name directly in the App by accessing ‘My Data’ and selecting ‘Edit’.

In the Joaquim Chaves Saúde App, it is possible to link dependents (up to 18 years old) to your account.”

1. Open the App on your mobile phone and log in.
2. In the left side menu, select ‘My Data’.
3. Choose ‘Manage Accounts’ and then ‘Add’.
4. Fill in the form with your dependent’s details and click ‘Confirm’.

After this step, you will have restricted access to your dependent’s profile, and for now, you will only be able to book appointments on their behalf.

To unlock the remaining features, you must go in person to one of our receptions, bringing the required documentation, and request the validation of the association.

To view your schedule in the Joaquim Chaves Saúde App, follow these steps:”

1. Open the App on your mobile phone and log in.
2. In the left side menu, select ‘Schedule’.
3. Your upcoming appointments will be displayed automatically.

In the Joaquim Chaves Saúde App, you can make appointments easily:”

1. Access your Personal Area by logging in to the App.
2. In the left side menu, select ‘Appointments’.
3. Follow the on‑screen steps to complete your consultation or exam booking.

To change or cancel an appointment:”

1. Access your Personal Area in the App.
2. In the left side menu, select ‘Schedule’.
3. Your upcoming appointments will be displayed automatically.
4. Select the medical act you wish to modify — the options ‘Cancel’ or ‘Reschedule’ will appear.
5. Choose the desired option and follow the steps until the process is complete.

Note: For exams, only cancellation is available.

• When the images are ready to download, you will receive a notification in the App.
• Image files must be downloaded on a computer, as mobile phones do not support this type of file.
• If you use a Mac (Apple) and cannot view the images, you must install the OsiriX HD viewer, available on the App Store.

To view your invoices in the JCS App:”

1. Open the App on your mobile phone.
2. In the left side menu, select ‘My Data’.
3. Choose the ‘Invoices’ option.
4. Select ‘Paid Invoices’ or ‘Outstanding Invoices’, depending on what you want to view.
5. Click on the desired invoice to open and view the document.

In the Joaquim Chaves Saúde App, you can view the details needed to make a payment as follows:”

1. Access your Personal Area through the App.
2. In the left side menu, select ‘My Data’.
3. Choose the ‘Invoices’ option.
4. Select ‘Outstanding Invoices’.
5. Click on the invoice you wish to view.
6. In the bottom-left corner, you will find the entity, Multibanco reference, and amount — the information you must use to complete the payment.

Although Multibanco references do not have an official expiration date, Joaquim Chaves Saúde applies its own billing policy, so the invoice should be settled as soon as possible.

The check‑in option is available in the App as follows:”

1. Open the App on your mobile phone and log in.
2. In the left side menu, choose the ‘Tickets’ option.
3. The appointments you have scheduled for the current day will be displayed.
4. After completing the check‑in, you should wait in the waiting room until you are called directly to the consultation room.

Note:
The check‑in option may not be available in all clinics. It is only allowed for consultation‑type appointments, and it can only be performed within 1 hour before the scheduled appointment time.
