Tests subsidised by the SNS at JCS clinics

This is an agreement that allows certain tests to be undertaken at a private healthcare clinic, in accordance with the conditions established by the SNS.

To make use of this agreement, you must have a valid medical prescription and choose a clinic that performs the subsidised test.

Any person with a valid medical prescription for a test covered by the agreement can request the test.

Eligibility depends on the test, the clinic and, in some cases, the Local Healthcare Unit that issued the prescription.

Confirm if your test is covered and if the selected clinic performs it under the SNS agreement.

Joaquim Chaves Saúde provides a range of Gastroenterology and Imaging tests.

The tests covered by the agreement include Colonoscopy, Upper Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, CT scan, X-ray and Mammogram. Availability depends on the clinic.

The prescription must be valid and clearly identify the prescribed test.

To undergo a CT scan in Miraflores, the prescription must also be issued by a Local Healthcare Unit covered by the agreement.
