Joaquim Chaves Saúde started operating the Radioncology Clinic of Alentejo in May 2022, with the aim of maintaining proximity treatment. This Unit is the only one in Alentejo and allows close and quick access to the most advanced technologies in the treatment of cancer, offering an improvement in the quality of life and prognosis of cancer patients in this region.

Specialists in Radioncology participate, in close collaboration, in the Therapeutic Decision meetings for the most varied oncological pathologies, with specialized units in the region, namely Évora Hospital Espírito Santo (HESE), the Local Health Unit of the Alentejo Coast, and the Baixo Alentejo Local Health Unit.

At Radioncology Clinic of Alentejo, a highly specialized team carries out radiotherapy treatments with high precision and with fewer side effects.
