At just 23 years old, Teresa Bonvalot is considered one of the greatest Portuguese surfers of all time, having been the first woman to ride a wave in the Olympic Games in 2021 in Japan. With numerous national titles and two consecutive championships as the European junior champion in the World Surf League (WSL), she is one of the nation's most promising athletes.
