Joaquim Chaves Saúde - 25 years of Medical Clinics

It was on May 12, 1998 that Joaquim Chaves Saúde inaugurated its first medical clinic - the Clínica de Miraflores. After 25 years, the Group now has several clinics spread across the country, operating in various medical specialties, always staffed with professionals of excellence and the best and latest equipment and means of diagnosis and treatment available.

Today, Joaquim Chaves Saúde is a renowned presence in the provision of health services in Portugal, and it all began 25 years ago, when the ambition to directly attend to the health of its clients was added to a work of excellence in the area of complementary laboratory diagnosis. The Clínica de Miraflores was the first of eight to work in the specialties of Nuclear Medicine, Oncology, Imaging, Gastroenterology and Cardiology, among many others. Soon other clinics opened in Cascais, Sintra, Entrecampos, Algarve, Moscavide and, more recently, in Carcavelos - where it extended its services to surgery, thus offering a more complete range of treatment options to all those who seek its clinics.
