Joaquim Chaves Saúde sponsored the Annual International (Bio)Medical Students Meeting

The AIMS - Annual International (Bio)Medical Students Meeting - is an event organized by the Students Association of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Lisbon (AEFML) for Biomedical Sciences and Medicine students. This edition took place between April 13 and 16, at the Aula Magna of the University of Lisbon.

The program of this edition, which featured a remarkable panel of international speakers, included a talk by Dr. Leland Hartwell, winner of the Nobel Prize in Medicine and Physiology in 2001. Joaquim Chaves Saúde was the Platinum Sponsor of the event, and thus reinforces its commitment to progress and medical and scientific research in various areas of health.

 
In addition to the lectures, given by some of the most eminent and respected scientists and physicians from various areas, the congress also offered practical and theoretical-practical workshops, which aim to complement the training of participants in the most innovative and recent methodologies and techniques in the respective areas of Medicine and Biomedicine. Joaquim Chaves Saúde was present at the congress, not only to support this type of fundamental initiative, namely for future young health professionals, but also to disclose the health services that the Group offers in the different medical specialties.
