Maternal and Child Meeting

Last Saturday, October 22nd 2016, Maternal and Child health issues were discussed at Lagoas Park Hotel. This topic deserves special attention at Joaquim Chaves Saúde.

Female health is intimately connected to the reproductive health of women, to maternity and, consequently, to the beginning of a new life.

In this meeting, prenatal diagnosis, HPV infection and vaccines not included in Public Health Planning were the main issues presented by several invited speakers, both national and international. They enriched the meeting with their specialized knowledge and spoke for an audience of over 120 health professionals.
