Certification Transition to ISO 9001:2015

Joaquim Chaves Saúde already has 10 units with accredited quality management systems, covering over 95% of its activity. The reference in certification standards has been revised in September 2015 and its edition NP EN ISO 9001:2015 has come into force. A maximum transition period of 3 years has been established for the application of this new certification.

In 2016, 9 of Joaquim Chaves Saúde accredited units will transit to this new reference. This latest edition is clearer on the presentation of requirements, reinforces the importance of an approach by processes and pursuit of goals. It values the analysis of risks and opportunities as the basis for improving the quality of provided services.
